Privacy at SkyBurn

SkyBurn forecasts sunset and sunrise color windows from city searches, approximate location signals, live weather providers, and anonymous forecast feedback.

Data We Use

City searches are sent to the SkyBurn Worker API so we can geocode the location and return a forecast. When IP-based location is available at the edge, SkyBurn uses approximate city-level coordinates to choose a starting forecast. Precise browser location is requested only after a user action.

Forecast Feedback

If feedback controls are shown, SkyBurn stores the selected rating, forecast snapshot context, algorithm version, and an anonymous session hash. We do not store raw IP addresses or free-form feedback text.

Analytics And Ads

SkyBurn may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic and performance. Advertising may be added later; any personalized advertising or consent requirements should be reviewed before ad scripts are enabled.
